Cute Critters

It is Monday so time for a new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs.  This week the theme is Cute Critters.  Due to an issue with Inlinkz, last week's challenge of Banners and Balloons is still running so there is still time to get an entry into that one too.  We also have a DT call on at the moment and would love to have some new members on our team.

This week's challenge is sponsored by Digital Delights and Scrappiness Designs:

I have created a card using a Digital Delights image and sentiment and Scrappiness papers:

I have also used  Spellbinder dies for the die-cutting, copic markers for colouring and some tiny black pearls as embellishments.

I am entering my card into these challenges:
CRAFT Challenge - Animal/Pet
Robyn's Fetish Challenge - Use A Digi
Jellypark Friends - Animals/Pets

Sexy Bride

I found a number of challenges that this image would fit - and I'm not that sure that I have actually created with it before!  I went with a non-traditional colour scheme:

I am entering my card into these challenges:
Just Inspirational Challenge - Weddings
Sassy Studio Designs - It's All About The Love
Glitter n Sparkle - Show Us Some Sass
Bearly Mine Challenges - September Colours

I have used a textured cardstock from DCWV.  The backing paper is from Bearly Mine Designs.  The image is Sexy Bride from Sassy Studio Designs.  I think the image may have been retired as I couldn't find it in the shop now.  I coloured with copic markers YR07, E00, Y15 with a combination of outline colouring and solid colouring.  The die that I used to frame the image is from Marianne's Designs.  I also added three pearls from Rosie's Studio.

Flowers and My First Stick Pin

A while ago I came across a challenge with a Stick Pin theme but didn't enter it as I didn't have any pins.  When I saw some in a shop a couple of months back I bought some and this is the first time I have had a chance to use them:

I am entering my card into these challenges:
Delicious Doodles  - Anything Goes with a Delicious Doodles image
CCC Digi Creations - Digi/Charms or Pins
PINspirational Challenges - Photo Inspiration (girl with long hair)
CHNC Patterned Paper - September Challenge

I have used a chevron patterned paper from Rosie's Studio.  The image is Blossom from Delicious Doodles and has been coloured with copic markers RV23, RV21, V17, V15, E00, E53, E51, Y06.  I matted with some metallic purple paper.  The basic stick pin is from Birch Haberdashery and I have added some beads out of my stash.  I also coloured some white ribbon flowers with RV23 and added some lavender coloured pearls.

Christmas Heels

Wow - where did August go!  As it is the beginning of another month, it is time to remind everyone to keep progressing those Christmas cards along.  Please enter your Christmas creations with us at CHNC Extra for September.

Here is my inspiration card for this month:

I am also entering the card into these challenges:
Jingle Belles - Gold
Completely Christmas - Anything Christmas
The Outlawz Friday Challenge - Christmas

I have used a spotted Christmas paper from DCWV for the background.  I added strips of gold glitter tape from American Crafts along with a gold glitter dome.  The image and sentiment are both from Bugaboo Stamps.  Although this sentiment came with another image I thought it was perfect for this one too.  I coloured the heels with copic markers and then added some Stickles - gold over the top.

I have used a green paper from Kaisercraft.  The spider web die is from Memory Box and has been cut from Shimmer cardstock by DCWV.  The image is the progressive challenge image from Gerda Steiner and has been coloured with copic markers.  The sentiment is from Digital Doodling and cut using a Spellbinders scallop circle die.  I also added some cream coloured pearls.
